The 9826N is designed for use as either a hot-line telephone (on PBX equipment with hot-line capability) or an answer-only telephone. It makes an ideal alternative to an ordinary telephone being striking looking and hence easy to see. With no keypad to make it appealing to opportunist thieves, the 9826N is less likely to disappear from public places and because of its small dimension, it is ideal for use in lifts.
